Steve Karmeinsky shares his father, Rudy Kennedy’s experiences; Dr Warnock introduces the Wiener Holocaust Library exhibition.
Dr Barbara Warnock, co-director of the Wiener Holocaust Library, will be providing an introduction to this event that focuses on slave labour during the Third Reich. Barbara will be talking about the current exhibition at the Wiener Holocaust Library, Nazi Slave Labour Perpetrators and Victims.
Dr Warnock will introduce Network Events Committee Member Steve Karmeinsky. Steve will talk about his father, Rudy Kennedy’s experience as a slave labourer in Auschwitz and Mittelbau-Dora, their 1995 trip to Auschwitz, and his father’s battle for compensation that led (in part) to the founding of the Claims Conference.
