Become a Computer Support Volunteer

The digital world moves fast, and keeping up with modern technology can feel overwhelming.

Many of our members value the opportunity to stay connected with family, friends and the wider world, but technology can sometimes be a barrier.

As an AJR Tech Support Volunteer, you can help Holocaust survivors, refugees and their families build confidence using smartphones, tablets and computers. Whether you’re helping someone make a video call, access online services, solve a technical problem or stay safe online, your support can make everyday life easier and reduce feelings of isolation.

You don’t need to be an IT professional—just patient, approachable and confident using everyday technology. By sharing your skills, you’ll help our members stay connected, independent and engaged, while making a meaningful difference to someone’s life.

“Thank you so much for everything – a wonderful organisation! Even a phone call on my 80th birthday! What value – interesting zoom sessions, yoga and exercise classes and social get-togethers”.”
