November 2026
An exhibition by Barnet Libraries and ENRS (European Network Remembrance and Solidarity)
During November at Chipping Barnet library, Barnet Libraries will host an international touring exhibition from the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity organisation (ENRS).
Between Life and Death tells the true stories of people who chose to save others during the Holocaust.
Across Europe, rescuers risked their own lives to protect persecuted men, women and children. Through these extraordinary stories, the exhibition explores moral courage, human choice, and the enduring importance of empathy and solidarity.
No booking required. Just drop in to view the exhibition during staffed or self-service opening hours.
On 18 November there will be an event to mark the exhibition with special guest, Lady Milena Grenfell-Baines who was born in Czechoslovakia in 1929 and was one of the 669 children who escaped to Britain on Kindertransport trains organised by Sir Nicholas Winton in 1939.
